Why Firefox dominates IE

Because you can have the Forecast Fox extension pop up and let you know that the current weather is "Heavy Snow", which then makes you get up and look outside for the first time today and realize how lucky you are that you can work from home if necessary since the road outside is packed with snow that continues to fall. Much as I'd like to give you 99% of the credit, it actually was seeing Adblock in action on a friend's computer at school that pushed me over the edge into using it.

You can have maybe 85% of the credit, for getting me to the edge, you just couldn't quite convince me to jump. :)

i just wish firefox would have told me precisely when the furious blast was coming. when i left home, the skies were gray, but quiet. By the time i got to the parking lot at work this morning, i couldnt see 10 feet in front of me. Brrr.

back on topic, didnt you hear, the new version is going to have some major ne features, like tabbed browsing!

I actually checked out the new version of IE at HIMSS, and all the guy could show me were FF-style features like tabbed browsing, RSS feeds, etc. I asked him why I should consider using it instead of FF and he just recited the stuff about tabbed browsing again. Like, "I'm sure you'd rather use IE, just that you like some of FF's features. Now that we have added those to our product, why wouldn't you want to come back?"

He was right, I really do love banner ads.

There was a subtle hint of Brian Reagan in that one, and I have to say I liked it!

SeaMonkey FTW!

SeaMonkey is just the new name for the Mozilla core that Firefox is based on. If you can put up with the occasional crash, it's about as advanced as you can get in a browser.
